What to do while in Denver? Here are some of our recommendations…

Red Rocks AmpHitheater

A trip to Denver isn’t complete without a visit to Red Rocks Amphitheater. If you can catch a show, that’s the best way to see it, but it’s beautiful to walk around any time of the day, especially sunrise. You can do a sunrise tour with breakfast and join us for a hike right after.

Country Western Line Dancing:

A visit to The Grizzly Rose is always a memorable way to spend an evening country line dancing in Denver. Make sure you wear cowboy boots and hat!

Meow Wolf’s Convergence Station is an unforgettable, transformational, and not to be missed experiential museum in Denver. Discover immersive psychedelic, mind-bending art and an underlying rich narrative as you take a journey of discovery into a surreal, science-fictional epic.

NEIGHBORHOODs

Denver has dozens of cool neighborhoods to check out, like Lodo, Rino, Cherry Creek, Capitol Hill, South Pearl, Highlands (Check out Tennyson Street between 38th and 46th for cute shops, bars, restaurants and even a Cat Café! That’s right, you can drink coffee and pet cats at the same time! After you got your cat fix, head over to Tatarian (our guide Robin’s favorite spot) for the best cocktails in Denver! Try the “Dragon’s Blood” which they light on fire. Every cocktail is made with so much LOVE! Love cocktails? Denver has a couple hidden Speakeasies, reminiscent of the Prohibition Era. Visit The Green Russell or Williams and Graham for delicious cocktails and cool vibes. Across the street from Williams and Graham you’ll find the best ice cream in Denver inside a giant Milk Carton (Little Man Ice Cream) and an awesome restaurant called Linger, built in an old mortuary.

Blue Pan – Detroit square style pizza, they even have Gluten Free Options
Hops and Pie: Specializing in beer and pizza, how could this not be great?!
Atomic Cowboy – New York Style pizza and cool vibes
Bar Dough – Italian style wood fired pizza and SO much more. This lively spot is very popular, since it’s chef Carrie Baird won on Top Chef.

It’s not just a transportation hub. This beautifully renovated historic hotspot includes shops, coffee, ice cream, restaurants and bars.

LARIMER SQUARE

Our favorite part of Lodo – Check out Larimer street between 14th and 15th. There’s a cool SPEAKEASY bar called The Green Russel where you can drink amazing cocktails in an atmosphere reminiscent of the 1920s.
